Now that we’ve talked about “the Facebook for food,” let’s discuss an app that purports to be “the Netflix of food.”
How does that work, you ask? It goes like this: you tell FoodGenius what you like to eat, and as you try different bites around the city, you rate them. Then, FoodGenius recommends specific menu items based on your previous ratings and your self-reported food profile.
FoodGenius has a unique approach, unlike other ratings-based food technologies, that caters to the individual menu item, as opposed to the restaurant in general.
