ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THE NEW FACEBOOK TIMELINE?
If you want it, you can get it now. With just a few easy steps, you’ll be rockin’ the new profile layout weeks before your friends (but only your friends who also upgraded will be able to see it). But be careful what you wish for.
I jumped at the chance to venture into the unknown. After all, most people love it, and I like to be the first to try something new. Immediately after hitting “Publish,” I freaked out, just as predicted. It’s. Completely. Different. You will hate it. It reminds me a bit of the mess that is MySpace.
Here’s what is cool though: a vertical timeline allows you to view random status updates and wall posts from specific years. It was really hard not to ‘Like’ every ridiculous wall post from September 2004, the year I first joined The Facebook. You know when it was a college-only social network. How Facebook has grown.
