The Lion Dilemma

How long can I hold out before I upgrade to Mac OS X Lion? I’ve made it four months thus far, and my plan is to make it until at least the new year. It wasn’t always like this: I used to upgrade to the new OS as soon as I could get my hands on the install disk. But now it seems I wait longer and longer as we go through the big cat family. Why?
“I’m starting to hate Mac OS X,” Mac expert Tim O’Reilly said in a recent Google+ post. “Each successive release of Mac OS X gets worse.” I have to agree. I waited a long time before upgrading to Snow Leopard, and will wait even longer for Lion. My beef is with the iOS-ification of Lion. I like iOS — on my phone. I like Mac OS X on my Mac.
