Visions of sugarplums might be dancing through your head this holiday, but there’s nothing but gadgets floating through my mind. Here’s a list of tech treats that are “gifts of the future,” not only because they are advanced but also because you probably can’t afford them right now. I guess it won’t hurt to ask Santa.
After working out on your $11,500 Italian-made stationary bike while watching a TV show from your iPhone 4 projector ($260), you may need a shower. For $7,700 hidden screens in your bathroom mirror will display Twitter, the weather and whatever else you can imagine while you brush your teeth.
For the budget shoppers, there are a handful of futuristic objects within your reach. For $35, the Sensu brush allows you to paint on your iPad (no real paint required) while the Harvard-designed caffeine inhalers are only $3 a pop.
