It’s about time companies other than Apple put out a few mind-blowing gadgets — or at least dream about them. Just like this Microsoft video, these conceptual creations give us a taste of what lies in our future. What is it exactly? Screens. Everywhere.
Your Future Car: It’s the Toyota Fun-Vii, a cool-looking smart car (it wirelessly charges!) that’s covered with screens inside and out. My favorite part is that you can change the color of the car whenever you want and you can synch with an auto pilot lane to drive hands-free.
Your Future Tablet: Samsung believes tablets of the future should be paper-thin and flexible. Bend it, roll it up, and do just about anything you want with it. How about we stop making videos about it and actually make it happen?
Your Future Gaming Experience: To promote its yet unseen PlayStation Video Store, Sony released a series of three videos that turn one living room into different virtual worlds. What could this mean for video games and movie theaters? Only one thing: awesome.
