Resolve to ‘Have a Cow, Man’!

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA’s, are becoming a mainstream part of the vegetable and fruit economy. The latest version of CSA’s are slightly illegal under the table omnivore communities who share a cow’s raw milk, a pig’s meat, or a local fisherman’s bounty.
The benefit to local shares is often the quality of the product, and knowing the process and the community. Raw milk shares have become more and more popular as a way to subvert the law to not sell unpasteurized milk. If you are a home Gastronaut and want to attempt making your own cheese, finding truly raw milk is nearly impossible without this. Local fisherman who may not be licensed to sell commercially can find a direct to consumer market with a regular share group. An animal share membership can be a great quality of life resolution for the New Year!
