He’s on Facebook. And Twitter (along with his wife). He has a YouTube channel and even sang a little song that went viral. He joined Instagram (search “barackobama”) and Google+.
The President obviously isn’t new to social media. In fact, he’s racked up something like 37 million followers via various online networks. He’s held Twitter town halls and his campaign has always been a bit more modern than those before him. (See hipster screen prints, Joe Biden beer cozies, Obama basketball jersey, and Michelle 2012 rhinestone-crusted pins for proof.)
Now next week you can join his Google+ Hangout. The President will answer the most popular questions submitted to the White House’s YouTube page Monday at 5:30 ET. It seems like the only thing he’s missing is a few Pinterest boards and a Yelp account.
