When Pinterest first started in 2008, non-users laughed off the new social network as a place for moms to share images of weddings, inspirational workout quotes, and crafts. But now that it’s hit 10 million unique monthly users faster than any site ever, everyone stopped laughing and started pinning. Even dudes.
WHAT IS IT?
The digital pin board site lets you “pin” images or videos to themed virtual boards. Users can follow, like, comment, and share–or “repin”–other user’s content just like any social network.

Find amazing inspiration for DIY projects and more with the search function. Search LEGO, Arduino, 3D printer, robot–whatever it is you love. Or follow users with interesting boards like this geek-tastic one.
