THE BEST DESKTOP WALLPAPER SITE EVER

Image via The Fox is Black

Keeping your desktop background image new and interesting is the cornerstone of an effective digital workspace. How’re you supposed to get anything done when you’re constantly staring at that one cool wallpaper you found over a year ago, or, god forbid, a default Windows or Mac background? No. We can do better.

Smarter Upstarter’s secret for fresh desktop wallpaper is The Desktop Wallpaper Project at daily design blog The Fox is Black. Every week or so, site curator Bobby Solomon sources original artwork, often made special for TDWP, and offers it free of charge to the world. The wallpapers come in every shape and size, for any computer, and can even be used for iPhones and iPads. It’s my first stop whenever the ol’ MacBook Air needs a facelift.
