RENT A BIKE, EXPLORE THE CITY

When Spinlister founder Will Dennis moved to New York for the summer last year, he knew he wanted to rent a bike, but didn’t want to deal with buying and reselling one just for the summer. Finding nothing in the way of peer-to-peer bike rentals, an idea was born.

Spinlister is a bike rental marketplace that connects people looking to rent a bike with, you know, people who’d like to rent their bikes out. It’s a lot like GetAround, but for bikes. If you’re still on the sidelines of the Collaborative Consumption movement, Spinlister seems like a good place to dip your toes in the water. It’s super-simple to list a bike, and Spinlister will have your back if something goes awry. Said Dennis, “We think there’s a huge opportunity to bring recreational enthusiasts, travelers, and explorers, together so that no matter where you are in the world you can hop on a great bike, meet someone awesome, and explore.”
