SHARE YOUR RUN WITH A SMALLER AUDIENCE

Image via Path

Sometimes you want to share something with everyone you’ve ever met, and for that you use Facebook, and other times you just want to share something with your nearest and dearest. Path is meant for sharing something with just that select group of people whom you’d consider to be close friends. For me, this distinction is most clearly pronounced when we’re talking about sharing workout results. If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at Tweets or Facebook posts by someone who “just killed a 10k”, then you know what I’m talking about.

But sharing your latest run with those close to you, like your family, is less like bragging and more like a quick share to let everyone know that you’re at least getting some exercise, so they don’t need to worry about you. Well good news: the Nike+ GPS app for iPhone now integrates with Path, so you can share your run/walk with just your besties. Because not everyone cares that you just killed a 10k.
