WHICH SOCIAL NETWORK RULES THEM ALL?

How much time each day do you think you spend on social networks? Are you perusing Facebook for hours on end? You know what I mean…like when you realize it’s been 25 minutes and you have come out of what can only be described as a “Facebook blackout” where you are staring at pictures of your middle school boyfriend’s current girlfriend who you are not even friends with? Oh, so that has never happened to you…
Social media platforms continue to consume more and more time in our daily routines-whether or not you are aspiration-ally pinning items out of your budget or tweeting up a storm about SXSW, social media plays a huge part in our digital lives. As new networks emerge I thought I’d still point out the ways that each site is better than the other. Sort of like participation awards for this social media world we live in.
And the award for best stalking goes to…Facebook. (guilty)
The prize for most interesting links belongs to…Twitter.
Coming out on top for funniest sh*t is…Tumblr.
The premier place for pretty pictures is…Pinterest.
The most useful social network for traveling is…Foursquare.
Dominating the others in “viral-ness” is… YouTube
And Google+ is honored with the prestigious trophy for… umm… sorry, I haven’t figured that one out yet.
