MAKE A BACK TO THE FUTURE FLYING TIME MACHINE

Image via YouTube

Must. Make. Now. I already blogged about some pretty cool quadrocopters in my Sh*t Makers Make post, but this one quite possibly tops any RC device that’s ever been created. Even the flying people. The good news is you don’t need plutonium or a flux capacitor to create one yourself.

So fine, maybe I’m a semi-obsessed Back to the Future fan, but even if you didn’t dream of a hoverboard as a child, you’ll get a kick out of this quadrocopter version of Doc’s DeLorean time machine that famously flew in the Robert Zemeckis film. It looks so realistic that I’m starting to think this is actually how they filmed the special effects in the movie.

If you’d like to follow in Doc’s footsteps, the technical specs of the quadrocopter are included at the end of the clip.
