Y COMBINATOR’S DEMO DAY IS GROWING UP

Image via WIRED

The latest class from the Y Combinator tech startup bakery was presented last week in Silicon Valley.  Previously held over multiple days at the Y Combinator offices themselves, the first Demo Day of 2012 was upgraded to a single day startup cavalcade held at the infinitely more comfortable Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

Have a look at all 39 companies demo’d here, but I’m here to tell you the one you should try right now is Screenleap. I’m a sucker for new tools that simply make the things you already have work better. Screenleap is a utility that lets you share your screen with someone else by sharing a single link.  No software. No signups. Totally free.  If you’ve ever helped a relative sort out a computer problem over the phone, this service is for you.

What’s your favorite startup coming out of Y-Combinator? Tell us below or @WIREDInsider.
