And I mean everything. The number of apps and accessories continues to climb in the grand scheme of turning your phone into a do-it-all device. And with the potential for tablets to replace PCs nearing, it might be that much harder to step away from your phone and connect with the real world. Here are a couple unneeded but totally wanted ways to use your phone:
The Underwater Camera
This underwater iPhone case–good for up to 100 feet–lets you conveniently use the iPhone camera app with a few perfectly placed mechanical buttons. Pretty awesome, but it’s weird that you can only use the camera. It’s not like you’re going to make a phone call, but keep in mind that you’re screwed if your phone locks. Be sure to unlock your phone and change the settings before you dive.
The Joystick Controller
No matter how advanced video games get, we always long for the old-school days of Atari and Nintendo. An iPhone joystick will bring you right back to your childhood. It attaches on top of your camera and your camera picks up on colored markers within the joystick to detect movement while your entire screen remains available for play.
