Svpply is one of those websites that I’ve never fully committed to, yet can’t quite let go of. The pinterest-like curation/shopping site has actually been around longer than Pinterest, and is focused much more on commerce than it’s now-giant social networkish counterpart. The thing that keeps me around is their occasional email; there’s almost always some cool piece of adventure gear featured in it that I can’t resist clicking on. I’ve come across some really cool stuff in there in recent months, which is why I’m definitely in for their new iOS app.
Hot off the presses this week, Svpply’s new app customizes your mobile shopping and browsing by allowing you to follow specific stores, brands, and categories. If you’ve been in the mood for, say, a new backpack, Svpply’s slick navigation menu will have you browsing their curated collection in no time, giving you a sense of the latest in backpackery. Free in the App Store, this app is most definitely Adventure Capitalist-worthy.
