It’s been almost a week since Facebook debuted the Facebook Camera app-–which curiously has nothing to do with Instagram. While the 14 included filters just seem like a less impressive version of the popular photography app, Facebook Camera does make uploading photos much easier.
The best part is that you can select multiple pictures from you library and post them all to Facebook in a single status update – something you can’t do on the Facebook website (unless you create a new album). Users can also take a picture within the app–-or select a past pic from the library-–then crop, add a filter, and post to Facebook.
As someone who used my Facebook app exclusively for uploading photos, this new app takes me exactly where I need to go and saves me time in the process. Read more about the Facebook Camera app on WIRED.
