THE FACEBOOK PHONE

Image via WIRED

Poor Facebook. First the whole IPO glitch. Then its stock began losing value faster than my Beanie Baby collection. Now the company isn’t sure if it’s a web company or a mobile tech company.
Word on the street is that a Facebook phone is in the works. Wha? I guess it makes sense. Facebook just launched a dedicated camera app. And I can’t remember why I got a phone before using it mainly to post on Facebook (I guess it also makes phone calls?) But you don’t just whip up a phone by pouring some parts into a bowl and stirring. It takes money, and probably some garlic and chives.
Further word on the street is that Facebook could work with RIM to create a Faceberry, but it would still need an operating system. But, assuming they could get all these things, a Facebook Phone could be a great way for Facebook to actually turn a profit.

Would you use a Facebook phone?
