It’s one thing to order a new pair of running shoes online without having actually ran in them before. But when it comes to big ticket items like skis or bikes, that won’t fly. Some gear can’t be left to chance. You must test.
This month the gang over at @WIREDplaybook assembled the WIRED Bike Team to do some of that testing for you. This past week, they put over $100,000 in bikes through their paces over 150 miles of California back roads. Helmets. Shades. High-priced Italian cycling bibs. It’s all a part of the Wired Bike Test leading up to June 30th’s Tour de France.
