THE 10 COOLEST SCI-FI DADS AROUND
As a child, there were days when I dreamt of how cool it would be to have Bill Nye the Science Guy or Darth Vader as my father. I’m not sure how happy I would have been if my dreams came true, but as it turns out, there are tons of sci-fi dads out there that we’d like to celebrate on this Father’s Day:
Arthur Weasley
He’s a perfect combination of geek, warrior, and family man. Arthur Weasley may have been Ron’s dad, but he acted as a father figure to both Hermione and Harry through thick and thin.
Mr. Incredible
Working – albeit fighting crime – together! Now that’s a super power that many families would like to have. And Mr. Incredible gets extra points for the fact that he can beat up any other dad.
Jonathan Kent
He raised SuperMan to be the upstanding superhero that he is. It must have been difficult to teach an adopted son with superpowers how to live a normal life, but Jonathan and Martha pulled it off.
