Is it a gorgeous science experiment? Some might say yes, but it’s much tastier, more fun and incredibly expensive for a run of the mill scientific hobby. WIRED Gadget Lab’s Tom Anderson explores the trendy “DIY” distilling boom in an article posted on WIRED.com on June 21st.
Anderson details the explosion of craft DIY distilling from Dave Pickerell – consultant to these new craft brewers, and master brewer himself. Dave helps keep costs down–-under a million even, which (for some) allows entry into the market. This ain’t no bathtub gin or beer-kit beer, this is the new craft “DIY” revolution for the 1%.
