IT GIRL’S GUIDE TO COMIC-CON

It’s like you got a unicorn on your birthday and then won a trip to Disney World and

then found $5 bill under a rainbow. That’s how magical Comic-Con is. And overwhelming.

To stay on track, IT Girl’s rounded up a few tips to help you navigate the convention.

Know Your Way

You don’t want to be the only loser in nerd paradise who’s holding a paper map. Let

the Official Comic-Con App be your guide to programs and exhibitors. Make sure your

phone is charged up. That little device will be working overtime during the show.

Stay Informed

Besides following @comic_con on Twitter, be sure to occasionally search the hashtag

#SDCC for updates on where you should be. It’s the only way to get the gossip on

potential celebrity sightings, like Ernie.

Make Friends

Have you heard of Zaarly? If you’re not going to Comic-Con and you want in on the

excitement, pay attention to the site during the convention. One guy made some

serious cash at SXSW by providing transportation via Zaarly, and in the process he was

able to network–privately, in his own car–with some of the biggest names in his

industry.
