A CHARITABLE ZOMBIE THRILLER?

Whoever thought that a film about zombies would be produced to raising money for a good cause? Z*Con is scheduled to be released in 2013 and is doing just that. Produced by Big Damn Films and directed by Michael C. Dougherty, this horror film will have you screaming for a good cause.
Big Damn Films’ first movie, Browncoats: Redemption, raised over $117,000 with 100% of the proceeds going to five different charities, including Equality Now and The Dyslexia Foundation. The company has high hopes to raise more than $250,000 this time around.
Z*Con’splot involves four teenage friends who attend a comic convention (cough Comic-Con cough) in the hopes of reporting on the event, but end up having to outrun zombies in the midst of their project.
