CHARGE ON THE GO

The active gadget lover faces one problem: how can you charge your devices when you live such a nomadic lifestyle? The devices are mobile by nature, but their battery power is not. Until now. Enter bags with a built-in power supply.

Bike bag manufacturer Timbuk2 revamped two of its popular styles to create the Power Commute and Power Q. Both lightweight, medium-sized bags offer a power supply called the T1. Once the T1 is charged up via a wall outlet, it can then charge any device with a USB cable (allegedly for “weeks” on end). Your gadgets stay safe and get juiced up at the same time.

Think of the possibilities: charge your gadgets while you bike or walk to your next destination. Charge your gadgets while you’re on a plane. Charge your gadgets while you’re at a busy coffee shop with no available plugs. I’ll be one of the first to buy when the $199 bags arrive online in October.
