CHEF-LEBRITY AT AN ALL NEW LEVEL

In the past half-decade, the rise of the “celebrity chef,” or, as we like to call it, the “Chef-lebrity” has been astounding. With shows like Top Chef, Hell’s Kitchen and more or less every Food Network program out there, the line between celebrity and chef has long-since been blurred.
And now, thanks to the uber-celeb (and passionate foodie) Gwyneth Paltrow, the two have officially melded together. According to a recent Eater article, whispers of Paltrow being cast as the lead role in a film rendition of the culinary memoir Blood, Bones and Butter: The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef are becoming louder. The adaptation of the book, written by restaurant owner Gabrielle Hamilton, highlights just how much star power restaurateurs have earned.
We think it’s a step in the right direction – We’d rather watch Paltrow walk us through a lifetime of learning to cook than be behind the scenes with Bieber any day, even if it’s not 3D.
