While I’m a huge fan of phone and tablet accessories like the iCade, there’s something to be said about gaming in front of a gigantic TV with a classic controller. That’s why my original Nintendo is still sitting pretty in my living room.
Others have attempted to bring the retro gaming experience to mobile devices, but there really was no perfect way to transform your phone (the screen is too small) or your tablet (it’s too awkward to hold) into an awesome gaming device. But someone finally figured it out.
The GameDock turns your iOS device into a gaming console. Plug retro USB controllers into the dock, and plug the dock into your TV with the HDMI adapter. Your device will charge while you play.
