EVERNOTE X MOLESKINE SMART NOTEBOOK

Image via Evernote

If I were to be buried, Pharaoh-style, I would take with me two things to the shores of the Styx: a nice suit, and my notebook. As many tablets, laptops, palmtops, and high-def monitors as I have, you really can’t erase the simple scratchy joy of pen-and-paper. But what’s good about Moleskine is also what’s bad: it’s analog, and the words are forever trapped on that little scrap of paper.

Moleskine’s new Evernote Moleskine might be a solution. Jot your secret crushes/new start-up ideas/indie pop lyrics down on the paper as normal. Then, use the Evernote app to snap pics of the sheets. The paper and app work to create a digital, searchable, sortable record on your phone. Special stickers can also be applied to tag or call-out those extra special unicorn doodles.

This Moleskine is so fresh it can’t even be bought. Yet. Grab it when you can.
