TWEET WITH YOUR FEET

The true star of the London Olympics wasn’t the gold-medal-winning athletes. It was Twitter. And to celebrate the most social games ever, Adidas teamed up with a sneaker superstar to create some… interesting… kicks.
British designer Nash Money’s athletic shoes lace up in the front like any other sneaker, but there’s two more features: cool LED strips of light along the sides and a tiny LCD screen that flashes your Twitter stream and stats. (Watch a video of the shoes in action.)
Kinda dumb, right? BUT Money’s idea is a little bit money. What if your shoes could tweet your location, kinda like Foursquare? You’d check in with your step instead of checking in with your face. And why don’t all shoes have LED lights? It would be great for night running.
