Finally, the world is realizing that food is the universal language. Or at least, America is.
According to a recent Daily Meal article, the James Beard Foundation and the State Department are finally working together to bring American diplomacy to a new, edible level.
The purpose of the movement is simple – to “elevate the role of culinary engagement in America’s formal and public diplomacy efforts.” AKA to ensure we’ll keep people happy and full with satisfied taste buds to keep the world spinning smoothly.
No complaints here, that’s for sure!
