SIX DEGREES OF GOOGLE

Billions of users. Trillions of gigabytes of data. The sum of all human knowledge and ingenuity at your fingertips. The internet is awesome. So what should we do with literally everything there has ever been?

Use it to play Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, of course.

Google, deeming pressing world problems such as poverty and war as mere triflings for weak-minded mortals, has used its calculating might to release the Kevin Bacon Number tool. It, of course, can be useful for playing that game that boggled such minds as Copernicus, Aristotle, and your Aunt Linda. Basically, the game is played by trying to link actor Kevin Bacon to another actor using the least number of movies as possible.

You can use the Google tool by typing in ‘bacon number’ followed by an actor’s name. Google, in it’s infinite mind-boggling wisdom, will return the Bacon Number along with with pathway connecting the actors.

Isn’t technology grand? Next up for Google: toilet paper - over or under?
