GIT’ER DONE

Good news. It turns out emotions are what motivate us to get out of bed every morning. More than money. More than fame. More than power. That means our feelings are important – and we know that we feel happier when we exercise. So what’s stopping you from doing it? Here are a few goals to set for yourself:

Get the Gear

You don’t run in the cold because you don’t have spandex leggings and a suitable running jacket? So get some! I don’t agree that buying the gear will make you athletic but it will stop you from making excuses.

Set a Schedule

I know some people who work out a lot. They have even paid for personal trainers. But they say they can’t run a 5K. That’s a lie. There are simple training programs out there that will do just what they say – get you off the couch and to the finish line of a 5K.

Sign up for a Competition

The word “competition” can be replaced with “fun run.” If you’ve committed to running a race, why not make it a good one? Check out The Color Run (a fantastic 5K) or one of these crazy obstacle courses (that range from 3 to 11+ miles).
