In honor of the first ever WIRED Health Conference, I’m doing my part to spread the message of good health to digital gentlemen everywhere. And what better way to do so than with unchecked facial hair growth?
Movember is an awareness and fundraising campaign taking place each year in November. Started in 2003, Movember recruits volunteers (called Mo Bros) who vow not to shave during the entire month, raising money for cancer research through the sheer power of the manly manes (and generous supporters). Last year Movember raised an astounding $126 million. That’s a lot of fur.
Even if you’re like me and can’t raise a really hairy ‘stache, you can still get involved. So put those razors down, and tickle your partner with your ‘stache for a good cause.
