CREATE A CHARGE WITH YOUR BODY

Image via nPower PEG
Get excited, outdoor enthusiasts. There’s pedal power. There’s on-the-go backpack charging. And now there’s a combination of both.
The nPower PEG backup charger captures your body’s kinetic energy as you walk or cycle and funnels it into your dead device. The PEG – which stands for Personal Energy Generator – is a little over 10 inches long and weighs just under a pound. Once the device is full, it holds the charge for up to three months. Not bad.
At $200, will you be throwing this backup charger into your hiking backpack or commuter bag? Read more about it at WIRED.
