THE WINTER MAKER

It’s fricken cold outside. Perhaps your locked up inside by a cozy fire and a mug of hot chocolate. Or maybe you’re getting cabin fever. In that case, head outside and get on with one of these projects:
Milk cartons. Water. Food coloring. Snow. That’s all you need to make this astonishing rainbow igloo created from ice bricks and “snowcrete” – snow mixed with water.
Ice Lanterns
These are super rewarding once the sun goes down. I’ve seen two options: fill a water balloon with water or use two buckets nested within each other. You can add food coloring here too. Flameless LED candles will prevent you from melting your own creation.
