Wheels Up

Who remembers the documentary Murderball from 2005? The MTV film that introduced us to the half rugby, half insane, full-contact sport known as “Murderball” was my favorite doc from that year, having revealed a whole movement of quad sports and athletes representing the U.S. in the Paralympic Games.  

I was reminded of these guys by something a friend posted on Facebook this week. Behold Aaron Fotheringham, the first dude to ever land a backflip in a wheelchair. And not just any wheelchair, but a state of the art, $3500 dollar custom job that does for Aaron what the KHE Maceto does for BMX champion Daniel Dhers.
